July 8, 2020 – Wine Industry Advisor and DTC Wine Workshops joined forces to provide wine industry members with a first of its kind, “Virtual Winery Programs Case Study Webinar”. Sandra Hess, founder of DTC Wine Workshops, has helped 450 winery teams across the nation with setup of virtual winery offerings through a series of web trainings that first launched March 18th.

“When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Virtual winery offerings have opened up opportunities for winery teams to engage with consumers in more intimate ways. When a wine producer is invited into the homes of consumers across the nation, a special connection can form leading to long-term loyalty in many cases,” shares Hess. “It has been an honor to support a variety of winery teams across the US with tools for better engaging with wine consumers during the pandemic“.

Hess invited three of her winery clients to participate in a webinar discussion and share their key learnings and return on investment points. Scott Klann, Owner and Winemaker, Newsome Harlow Wines in the Sierra Foothills of California, Andrea Meyer, Director of Hospitality at Round Pond Winery in the Rutherford district of Napa Valley and Brendan Finley, VP of Hospitality & Direct Sales at Wente Vineyards in the Livermore Valley joined Sandra for a lively discussion.
