Barbara Gorder is the President of Undisclosed Location, a national consulting firm serving wineries of all sizes. She helps her clients build effective strategies, develop packaging, and create marketing plans to better engage with wine consumers across the United States.
Barbara started out in Chicago at Leo Burnett and DDB, creating fully integrated advertising campaigns for Maybelline, Hallmark, General Motors, P&G, and Reebok. She has won many awards across a wide variety of consumer categories: ADDYs, One Show Gold Pencils, Mobius Awards, D&AD, Effie Awards, GM Launch of the Year (2X), a Cannes Gold Lion, and a Coty Award.
Her winery clients range from small family wineries to Public Companies. They include Chateau Montelena, Purple Wine Group, Constellation, and many others. She also has experience in developing and rebranding Spirits Brands.
Barbara lives on Sonoma Mountain and has worked as Keynote Chair of the DTC Wine Symposium since 2010. Since then, she has brought “Blue Ocean” speakers to the largest wine marketing conference in the US—looking well beyond the Wine Business: social media and content experts, media and legal experts, University professors, CEO Roundtables, and Consumer Feedback Panels. The DTC Steering Committee has built a $4B sales Channel for US wineries in the last 13 years, raised over 1.5M for Free the Grapes, and grown DTC shipping from 17 to 48 States.
